【Q5】What is the number of durability and the service life of the diaphragm?
Although it is important to assume the life of the diaphragm, it is very difficult to predict due to the following reasons.
- Fluid (composition, corrosiveness), pressure, and temperature differ depending on the user.
- The excessive tightening of the double-acting automatic valve cannot be foreseen.
- The abnormal temperature rise of the fluid may affect the life of the diaphragm significantly.
Normally, replacement of the diaphragm is recommended every 6 to 12 months for safety. However, since the life of the diaphragm varies depending on the operating conditions, frequency of use, disassembly for cleaning, number of times of restoration, etc., it is recommended that the replacement be decided at your own discretion.
